We are pipe lines-The more we give, the more we recieve God's Recurrent blessings!

THE LORD SPOKE TO ME THIS MORNING :D

He reminded me that He blesses me in order that I might be a blessing to others. Ever since I was introduced to the concept that God's promise to Abraham to "be blessed...and to be a blessing" (Gen. 12:2) is also for every believer, who are children of Abraham by faith, I have loved that concept. I so want other Christians to embrace it, too.
God has blessed us in order to make us a blessing. Amazing.
His blessings don't stop with the first recipient, they are meant to be passed on and on and on. We are created to be conduits of His free-flowing gifts of love and grace.

It is awesome to think that God's resources are limitless. They never run dry, they never reduce or diminish. We keep giving, He will keep pouring to over flowing and adding. We can't out-give God. The above verse promises me that if I am a willing and free-flowing vessel of God's blessings and riches that He will meet all of my needs out of His Heavenly storehouse of riches.

"And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:19

He reminds me of how He has met my needs in ways I did not expect. And not only meeting my needs, but heaping on extra blessings. He whispers loud and clear - I AM. I WILL PROVIDE. FREELY RECEIVE,FREELY GIVE! I RECALLED MY ARTICLE ON MINISTRY BLOG, '' EVERY DOLLAR GOES OUT TO GOD'S FIELDS''
www.hcfintl.blogspot.com

God's blessings often come in roundabout ways from unexpected sources in His own unique timing, yet He knows my needs better than I know them myself. And when I choose to complain or grumble, I have closed my eyes to God's daily gifts of grace. And when I am stingy, I am denying the benevolence of my Almighty God. So, why not continue to give and give, because only then will I continue to receive from the Heavenly Storehouse. And, who does not want heavenly riches?

"And if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.
"The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.
"You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail." - Isaiah 58:10-11

OUR DAILY QUOTES

 FOUNDATION MINISTRY VERSE:

Jeremiah 29:11-12 "For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you." (NASB)

We would love to share with you how we serve so I'm sharing them with you:

1. Be sure of our calling from the Lord because this will sustain us in times of doubt and difficulty.

2. Spend lots of time daily in the Word of God.

3. Seek the Lord daily.

4. Be flexible in the midst of change. I will add "blessed are the flexible for they won't break."

5. Have a good team of prayer worriers and communicate with them regularly.

6. Listen to and follow leadership.

7. Learn to forgive others when we're offended.

8. Keep Christ as the Source of our joy and peace and not people, places, things and circumstances.
9.Lastly, be dependent on God daily for life, strength and sustenance as you are.

Thank you for prayerfully, materially, and financially supporting Hope Christian Fellowship International Church Africa and ministries.
God bless,
Pastor Samuel Waswa

Thursday 1 August 2013

We are looking for your help to financially/prayerfully support us!

100% of EVERY Dollar Goes Out!

Hope Christian Fellowship International church Africa ensures that 100% of every dollar given—goes directly to the needs of greatest commission (Mathew 28:28:19-20) and greatest command (Mathew 25:40)!
After years in ministry in various Christian organizations, I was shocked by the amount of money actually making it to the mission fields and crusades. In my experience, millions of dollars are collected each year, but only about 10% is actually used outside the walls of the church!

Funds collected by these organizations are used to support good things: buildings, outreaches and necessary expenses but little is used for God things: in the actual growth of the gospel of Jesus Christ and for caring for orphans and widows.
The word that the Lord gave me that “Seed in the hand does nothing—it must be planted, in order to field a harvest!” Our church takes our responsibility as stewards of the funds that God provides very seriously. Each month, we meet to essentially drain our bank account and send every penny we can--into the mission fields, outreaches for gospel of Jesus Christ, as fast as possible, ensuring the “crop is planted” in preparation for God’s great harvest. Some would say we need to “plan for a rainy day” or for a month where funds are short—however we believe that God will meet the need, if, there truly is a need.

If the store house (bank account) is full, why would God need to provide more? Truly, the Lord has built the faith of both our church members as well as our supporters to run alongside the ministry, as we together experience God do, what He promises He will do!

…and here’s some great news, YOU can “Choose to Make a Difference”, starting today! Our only limitation is the amount in the bank account each month for us to send, reach out, pointing more souls for Jesus in Uganda and other African Nations. Jesus told his disciples “The harvest is great, but the workers are few”. Allow us to plant the “seed” (funds)/ Cruise of oils (Finances and material support that God has entrusted to you and it will immediately be planted into very fertile ground — you have my commitment!

''GO''-GREATEST COMMISSION(Mathew 28:19-20)-''SERVE'' & GREATEST COMMAND-''LOVE'' (Mathew 25:40)

''GO''-GREATEST COMMISSION(Mathew 28:19-20)-''SERVE'' & GREATEST COMMAND-''LOVE'' (Mathew 25:40)

“Are you seeing a hand others are not seeing? Do you hear a voice others are not hearing?” Would you Join us to obey His voice by Going,Loving and Serving as He would do or go or serve?

And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said, Here am I; send me.( Isaiah 6:8)

(1Samuel 3:10)-"And the LORD came and called as before, "Samuel! Samuel!" And Samuel replied, "Speak, your servant is listening."

We "Stand in the Gap" wherever we find it. (Ezekiel 22:30) and Always Declare " ALL AFRICA SHALL BE SAVED''

He made us for a purpose. He has also made you for a purpose. “Go… and tell them how much the Lord has done for you…” (Mark 5:19).

“What is life all about?’’ Why am I here? What is is my purpose in life?
What could possibly be more fulfilling in life than Answering GOD’s CALL-Or More tragic than missing it?

Don’t wait too long- the voice call could end and a vacation in life missed.

Responding to a call of God will require you to say, “it’s not what can be done for me, but what can I do for others? Not what I can get, but what can I give?”

PROSPECTS IN 2013 & OUR VISION FOR 2014

PROSPECTS IN 2013 & OUR VISION FOR 2014

We have been busy, and the Lord has done so much with the ministry in Uganda! We would like to share our vision for 2014 and share some amazing accomplishments from 2013.

Our  Church of Hope Christian Fellowship International Church Africa that was planted early last year continues to grow leaps and bounds with an organized, youth, women’s ministry, a vibrant children’s ministry of over 100 children and organized choir and praise teams.

Many people were baptized and lives were changed.  Men and women have given up their visits to the witch doctors and have thrown away their pots for brewing alcohol to walking out a life of peace and joy with Jesus Christ.

Your support and partnership has helped us to Reach out to the poor (Mathew 25:40& Isaiah 58), share the Word of God where evil has abounded and develop leadership in the church, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ ( Mathew 28:19-20).
We appreciate everyone who has helped and will help us in the future. There is so much more that the Lord wants to do through you alongside us for His Glory! Thank you!
Looking back to 2013, the Lord blessed Uganda in a variety of ministries.
  • 4 Mission Trips in Uganda.

  • Etc

I’ve  checked with the accountability, diaries note books, years achievements and came out with the  totals for this year’s ministry in Uganda, Our goal was to provide direct services (something in hand and Jesus in heart) to 3,000 people. Last year our goal was 2,000 people but we reached 2,616 people. So far 2013 is almost gone- here goes- J

On behalf of the entire family of Hope Christian Fellowship International Church Africa, I say thank you in the name of Jesus. We have touched hearts, pointed lives to Jesus, changed lives, helped families, we met with Dignitaries, gave hope to the hopeless, we  served in  various churches, orphanages and ministries services, laughed a lot, cried some, and loved with God’s kind of love. We worked hard under difficult and sometimes challenging situations. And we all did it with His joy in our hearts. This could not have been done without YOUR PRAYERS & FINANCIAL SUPPORT from kind hearts! And a special thanks to our beloved Price family in PA who stood in the gap to run alongside the lord’s ministry throughout us for His Glory! It’s good to be used of the Lord.
And from my heart felt I say That Thank you “Mwebale” In Uganda we say + May God bless you all for it,

On Conclusion of our projects, we will take a safari at the Kabarega National Park along the Nile River near the Murchison Falls or queen Elizabeth national Game Park.
Here you will experience the African wild and be able to see the “Big Five” (leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, Cape buffalo and lion) that dominate the African jungles.
Do not miss shopping for souvenirs such as carvings, handcrafted drums, jewelry and African clothing.

HOTEL DETAILS

a). From Entebbe, I will meet you with my team and you will take with us a 3-hour special super custom ride to Lweza Conference Centre where you will be staying a night there.

The costs are in Uganda shillings and each section I have translated for you the most important sections for you in U.S dollars.

1. Section A- Meals, all items listed below totaled to UGx 51700= $20.68

2. Section B-Accommodation (breakfast and beds)

a) Double occupancy self contained rooms (with toilets and every thing) totaled to Ugx75000 =$ 30 each room.

b) Single occupancy self contained rooms (with toilets and everything) totaled to Ugx5500=$22 each room.

Entry / Exit Requirements to and from Uganda:

Estimated Costs
the airfare cost has increased considerably due to the high energy costs.
The plane fare from there to Entebbe is currently approximately ranging from $1149- $2,000. + Ministry events support which will depend on you!

 Passport/Visa

You must have a valid US passport which will not expire until at least 6 months after you return from the trip.
The visa for entering Uganda will need to be purchased at the Entebbe airport for $50.00. US $50
A passport MUST be valid for three months beyond the date of entry, visa and evidence of yellow fever vaccination are required.
Visas are available at Entebbe Airport or may be obtained from the Embassy of the Republic of Uganda.
Airline companies may also require travelers have a visa before boarding. Travelers should obtain the latest information and details from the Embassy of the Republic of Uganda: http://www.ugandaembassy.com/ for more thorough information
The Uganda Shilling (means of exchange)

The currency used in Uganda is the Uganda Shilling. The exchange rate from the US dollar in the past year has Varied from 1700- now to 2569 = $1.00 US.

IT IS A MUST that you bring new or new looking US $100.00 bills dated 2000 or later. Uganda will not accept any bills dated 1999 or before and usually refuse to exchange any marked or torn bills.

The best plan is to let your bank know you need new bills before you arrive at the bank to purchase them. Lower denominations and traveler’s checks will be exchanged at much higher rates. We do not recommend using traveler’s checks as they are rarely accepted outside of the capital city of Kampala.

A $50.00 bill only gets 50% of the $100.00 bill exchange value. Likewise,
There are few ATMs outside of the international banks in Kampala .There is a small foreign exchange bureau (Forex) as you exit the airport building where you can Exchange currency. You will not be able to obtain Ugandan shillings before arriving in the country, so its best to get a small amount at the airport to pay for special taxi hiring until you can get to a Forex in Kampala. Where the rates will probably be better.

WHAT TO BRING
DO BRING:

1. Items collected for the ministry such as clothing, books, hand tools, school supplies, host gifts and monetary Donations. These will be distributed according to acceptable ministry guidelines. They will be accepted by the Community with gratitude to you and our Lord God.

2. Pack all your personal belongings in one checked in piece of baggage and that which you choose to carry on.
3. You check in a second piece of baggage with items that we need to deliver to Uganda.
4. That suitcase will then be filled for the return trip with your souvenirs and items which you will need to get back into the US.

PERSONAL ITEMS:

1. Safe and secure pack for your travel papers, passport and money.
2. A daypack or fanny pack to carry all personal items for the day.
3. Keep electrical appliances to a minimum; pack an international power converter that will allow you to charge batteries with a 220-volt European plug.
4. Hat and sunglasses
5. Enough undergarments for your trip (some host families may do some laundry for you if you ask, however they will not wash your lingerie).
6. Sandals/shoes, gym shoes, nicer sandals/shoes for church days. The walking will be uneven.
7. Women’s clothing: Comfortable wrinkle free skirts and dresses that hang below the knee. Nice dress for Sunday church. Pants are not proper for our public appearances. Capri pants and jeans are ok for travel days or working. No shorts, camisoles, spaghetti string or tube tops. Shirts must be modest.
8. Men’s clothing: wrinkle free pants and shirts. T-shirts and collar shirts only. Shorts can be worn for travel days or working.
9. A roll of toilet paper (or partial roll) should be carried in your backpack.
10. Fleece jog suit and socks for sleeping in Ben’s village; it gets cold in the mountains.

 WELCOME TO UGANDA

Wednesday 24 July 2013

IS GOD CALLING YOU TO AFRICA-UGANDA-KAMPALA?

IS GOD CALLING YOU TO  AFRICA-UGANDA-KAMPALA?

Is God Calling You to Uganda? Has your heart ever longed for Uganda? Have you ever had a burden for hurting, least, lost and Last people and children of Uganda.

“Consider your lives nothing until you enter and finish the race and the task the Lord Jesus Has assigned/appointed to you” –Acts 20:24

In today’s technological world there are billions of mobile phones utilized daily around the world, with people sending and receiving messages. If you hear a signal, don’t tie up the Line too Long- it May be God calling!” How can you know you have a Holy and divine calling?

Possibly you sense there is more to do in life? May be there’s a gentle voice on the other end of the line,” or a sense of urging in your spirit?

God’s call was on my life before I was born “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you…” (Jeremiah 1:5). I was a miracle baby "Samuel". My mother had experienced a difficult first delivery and lost the baby. Later she gave birth to my sister and almost died. The doctors then removed her ovaries (except for a small piece) and tied off her fallopian tubes so she could bear no more children.

I came along ten years later. However, ten years later, mother(Rosemary) told her doctor, “my body tells me am pregnant” He didn’t believe her at first, but nine months later, I arrived. In the mind and heart of God, before I was conceived, God planned to call me to His Ministry (
1Samuel 3:10)-"And the LORD came and called as before, "Samuel! Samuel!" And Samuel replied, "Speak, your servant is listening."
i have a burden to reach out to hurting children of Uganda!
I now realize that God not only gave gave me life miraculously, but He made me for a purpose. He has also made you for a purpose. “Go… and tell them how much the Lord has done for you…” (Mark 5:19).

Before God called me into full time service, I accumulated all the things I thought I “ just had to have.” But God called me to serve Him; He supernaturally aborted me from my former Job, investments and possessions.

Following His leading, I gave up everything and surrendered all to Jesus! I felt as if everything had clipped away. I prepared for serving the Lord by attending African Bible College Uganda,Bible League Uganda and MtZion Bible Institute while not suggesting that everyone has a call “DO” I believe all of us need to answer the following questions:

“What is life all about?’’ Why am I here? What is is my purpose in life?

Heeding the call

Upon departure from African Bible College and bible league Uganda in 2007-2008, one of the professors prayed John15:16 over me,“ You did not chose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that fruit should remain.” Fruit would be a spiritual symbol that would follow me during my call.
Some family and friend thought about me being kind craze and strange a bit to leave my well paid off careers.

But careers are something you chose, whereas “Call” is something you receive. A career is something you do for your self but the Call is something you do for God! Whoever may be contemplating service to God should realize that it will take courage to obey, if a call is received be careful not to leave it but carry it out- stay with it, whatever the cost. If you never answer, you may never know what you have missed!

WHAT CAN I DO FOR OTHERS?

I asked myself about what I can do for others? Responding to a call of God will require you to say, “it’s not what can be done for me, but what can I do for others? Not what I can get, but what can I give?”

People May receive a call at any age just like me, Do not put age restrictions on yourself saying, “am too young” or, “am too old.” Age shouldn’t be a problem as long as your faith is strong. You might be called upon to do things for the first time.

Don’t allow words like, it’s never been done before” Hinder you from doing What God asks. Let no power or persuasion deter you from a God –given assignment.

What if one is asked to live in a place of turbulence? The bible says” there is no fear in Love; but perfect love casts out fear…” ( 1 John 4:18) some of you reading this , may sense you have a call on your lives, but family or friends have told you, It’s too Dangerous to go there-it’s risky to travel to that country or strange land!” there is no place on earth that’s entirely “safe”- except in the center of God’s will!

ONLY GOD”S CALL WILL KEEP YOU!

Does your heart long for Uganda? Perhaps you would love to volunteer with Hope Christian Fellowship International Church Africa & run alongside ministries Family in PA?

It may be a sign of the “call” some one once asked me, Why are involving in ministry of God when you are young tender  aged -only 23 years old? can't you wait to mature at atleast 45yrs? why are you at bible institute at that age? are not  an amateur for ministry?, asked" one of my fellow preachers" “I chose to” I replied!- Then another pastor said it well “Samuel didn’t chose, God chose me” only God’s Call will keep you, whenever God sends you” and provides to what ministry He has for you!

The Lord confirm it by His word "You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.  You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. This is my command: Love each other"John 15:14-17NIV
“Are you seeing a hand others are not seeing? Do you hear a voice others are not hearing?”

Remember: “.. You are not own: for you were bought at a price..” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Your life has been preplanned, just as mine was from the day I was born.

What could possibly be more fulfilling in life that Answering GOD’s CALL-Or More tragic than missing it?
Don’t wait too long- the call could end and a vocation in life missed. God might be calling you to Uganda to preach and work with church ministry and orphanage.

Are you hungry for Africa,Uganda do you want to work alongside His ministries here, start an orphanage home or school, preach or teach in a conference, this is the right door for you.

You will never regret. God has given us the mission to direct your steps on a new land.We will access everything you need from accommodation to venues. God bless you as you link with us.We can make your AFRICAN Mission dream come to fulfillment,if you only confide in us. If God is putting a burden to come to Africa, Please contact us!

I believe the phone is ringing somewhere…..!
God bless y’all,
Your friend in the Gospel to the poor in Africa.

The Orphanage Dream

Run Alongside mission Orphanage-strives to carry out the mission of Jesus Christ by offering hope to the hopeless and a home for the homeless, hurting children of Uganda.  Jesus said in Matthew 25:40,  'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
